Great product but as with all Copic inks they come at a high price. The large bottles appear to have been discontinued making these smaller bottles that bit more expensive

It makes sense not to buy the pen again, as I can refill it as many times as needed.

Nothing beats Copic. i am over 50 and have used just about every pen or system on the market and nowadays I struggle to use any of my other pens as the copic system is just so good. I also know that although the initial cost of the pens and ink appears high, in the long run they definitely work out cheaper than their rivals due to the refiling capability. I love Copic.
