First time I messed up. 2nd time perfect
You get a great result plastering rather than taking your time. (for solids anyway). I used under coat a fluorescent, then some metallic flake and then some translucent. I practiced by restoring and painting the pedals first. Very easy compared to a frame (Best to paint on a old crank.)

Doesn’t seem to matter what colour it’s covering! You do not get any colour leaking through the finish!
